The Brighton Area Fire Authority is inviting residents of the Brighton Area and beyond to join them on Sept. 11, 2022, Sunday, at 9:00 am to observe the 21st Anniversary of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks.
The annual remembrance ceremony will be held at the Brighton Area Fire Authority Station 31 9/11 Memorial located at 615 W Grand River, Brighton. Please join us as we remember those we’ve lost on that day and to honor our first responders; police, fire and emergency personnel, as well as the service men and women who continue to serve, fight, and sacrifice for our freedom and safety.
Seating at the ceremony is provided up to 300, but the public is encouraged to bring lawn chairs to the outdoor observance to address overflow. Limited parking will be available at the memorial for handicap, additional parking is available in the lots adjacent to the memorial.
