Junior Cadet Program
BAFA’s Junior Cadet program plays a vital role in fostering the next generation of fire service professionals for the Brighton Area and beyond. Through this special training program, young individuals gain hands-on experience in firefighting techniques, teamwork, leadership skills as well as civic responsibility. What are the minimum qualifications to apply for Junior Cadet Paid-on-Call Firefighting Positons?
High School School students, ages 16-18 yr.
Valid State of Michigan Work Permit
Ability to work legally in the United States
Must reside in Brighton Area Fire Authority’s fire jurisdiction at the time of hiring.
